Meet at the Mt Montgomery Car park and be ready for a 6 am start. Google location pin.

The summit trail is approximately 2.5kms to the top, with 350m elevation gain.

Please allow up to 90 minutes to complete the loop to allow for walking and stops along the way, although you will likely be finished much sooner than this.

  • Any additional weather-dependent items (eg, wet-weather jacket)

The trail will challenge you, especially if you're new to trail running, with steep & varying terrain, allowing you to connect with nature and your fellow runners. After the run, we'll gather at the finish and make our way down to Letterbox Cafe in Penguin for a well-deserved post-summit coffee.
